Toolbox West Lunch with Ian Hopper

Lieutenant Ian Hopper is a Coast Guard helicopter pilot and Search and Rescue Aircraft Commander stationed in Corpus Christi, Texas. A Houston native and graduate of the Coast Guard Academy, Ian has flown numerous missions across the southern Gulf Coast, answering the call to save lives. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross for his role in the Kerrville, Texas, flood rescues, where he piloted the Coast Guard helicopter that was part of rescuing 200 girls at Camp Mystic.

He and his wife, Emma, have three children. Ian is passionate about his faith, engaging in big-picture worldview conversations, and making the most of family time.
