In 2021, Jane Marczewski—known to the world as Nightbirde—captivated millions on America’s Got Talent with her song “It’s OK,” earning Simon Cowell’s golden buzzer and instantly becoming a beacon of hope for those battling cancer. Less than a year later, she passed away at just 31 years old.

But her story didn’t end there. The way Jane chose to live sparked a movement of hope that continues today through the Nightbirde Foundation, led by her brother, Mitch Marczewski.

Jane showed us that even with just 2% of hope, life can still be meaningful. You can be joyful and still be hurting—those two realities don’t have to cancel each other out.
