Jon Peters is a husband, father, friend, former baseball player, and national record holder and author of When Life Grabs You by the Baseballs: Finding Happiness in Life’s Change-ups. He made history in 1989 when he broke the national high school record for the most consecutive wins (53) by a high school pitcher. He is the first high school baseball player to grace the cover of Sports Illustrated.
Following high school, Jon attended Texas A&M University on a baseball scholarship, but after enduring four arm surgeries and months of rehabilitation, he gave up his dream of pitching. It was at this time he was forced to face the hard truth: he had lived a life of strength on the outside, but internally he was falling apart. Jon, however, is an overcomer who knows how to climb back up the mountain and has dedicated his life to helping people succeed and breakthrough obstacles and challenges.
