Jim Nill – General Manager – Dallas Stars
Jim Nill, in his 11th season as General Manager of the Dallas Stars, is the longest serving GM in franchise history. During Jim’s influential tenure, the Stars have amassed a record of 403-280-98 and have made the Stanley Cup Playoffs in six seasons including two trips to the Western Conference Final and an appearance in the Stanley Cup Final in 2020. In 2022-23 Jim was the recipient of the Jim Gregory General Manager of the Year Award which recognizes the work of the top general manager in the NHL.
Prior to that Jim spent 9 years as a player in the NHL with Boston, St. Louis, Detroit and Winnipeg and was member of the 1979-80 Canadian National and Olympic teams.
