Life Upside Down
“I have had millions of dollars in the bank and couldn’t sleep a wink, and no money in the bank and sleep like a baby every single night. My identity was always in my stuff…”
Greg grew up in a typical middle-class family, raised by his mother and stepfather in Greenbelt, Maryland. During his senior year of college, he opened Zydeco Louisiana Diner in Houston, Texas, and subsequently entered the worlds of venture capital and private equity, focusing on healthcare, film, and real estate. From the outside, his life seemed perfect, but in reality, it was upside down. Despite his success, Greg struggled with the darkness of addiction, leading him to places he had once vowed he would never go.
Have you ever felt that your life is a mess? You are not alone. Even when everything seems chaotic, there is still the presence of “hope.”
Today, Greg and his wife Teresa mentor couples. He runs the Recovery Ministry at his church, mentors small business owners with the Kingdom Capital Network, volunteers with God of Hope (prison ministries) and is actively involved in Mobile Loaves and Fishes.
