Toolbox Austin Lunch with Chris Del Conte

Chris oversees one of the most prominent and successful collegiate athletics programs in the country. Since joining the University of Texas in 2017, Del Conte has led the Longhorns through a period of remarkable growth and achievement, including playing a critical role in the Longhorns’ 2024 move to the Southeastern Conference. Under his leadership, Texas teams have captured numerous Big 12 Conference championships and national titles, and the department has strengthened its reputation for excellence both on and off the field.

Previously, Del Conte held athletic director roles at TCU and Rice University, earning national recognition for innovation and integrity in college sports administration.
